4th Weigh-in: Progress is Progress, Right?

I can’t say I’m happy with the weigh-in results, but progress is progress, right?  I thought that I had lost more off my waist and hips than one inch but hey, it’s something.

So on this 4th weigh-in I have lost 1kg (2.2lbs) – I’m trying not to focus on the scales too much.  And 1 inch off my waist and 1 inch off my hips.

Tonight I will be changing my workout and will probably update it tomorrow.

Tomorrow’s Weigh-in & Tonight’s Love’n

I am a bit nervous about tomorrows weigh-in. I have to get it into my head that it’s not all about the scales, as I am building muscle. I am trying to keep motivated by the waist-to-hip ratio and I am wishing Feb 22nd would come quick for my next progress photo; my wife says that I will be surprised.

So for tomorrow’s workout I will up my reps to 12 again (still with the new dumbbell weight) and power through it in 30 minutes. I must remember to do my stretching before the workout. I always get so excited to get stuck into the workout that everything else gets lost.

I want to sell my exercise bike and buy a real bike, I can go onto in the neighborhood here which is safe and clan. There is a lot of waste ground that I could rip around on. I’ll get the word out and see if I can sell it quick.

3rd WEIGH-IN – Going Down Sir?

I am really happy about my 3rd weigh-in, lost another 2kgs (5lbs) and I lost 2 inches off my waste and another 2 inches from my hips. I am a happy chap today!

No pain of discipline then no gain!

Weight = 132kg (290lbs)

Waste = 54 & Hip = 50

54 / 50 = 1.08

Tuesday, Jan 29th – Not A Bother

I have a Peptic Ulcer that has been really bothering me a lot today but a part from that I did ok. I am really looking forward to my workout tomorrow 🙂 Well it’s 7:59pm here now in Indonesia and I want to be asleep at 8:30pm at the latest so I am energized for tomorrow.

Breakfast – oatmeal, peanut butter & hot low-fat milk

Snack 1 – raw carrot

Lunch – two slices of brown bread, 2 eggs, mayo & a thin-cut slice of cheese

Snack 2 – apple

Dinner – home made chicken soup (on the bone) with broccoli & carrot

Snack 3 – 2 mandarin oranges

Sunday, Jan 27th – Poor Daniel

My eating schedule was a little off today as my wee boy is sick. Yep little Daniel has a cold and some top teeth coming through. So I have bells and baby’s yells in my head. The poor little fella seems to be getting better though. Let’s hope and pray that tomorrow he’ll be better.

Breakfast – oatmeal, peanut butter & hot low-fat milk

Snack 1 – nothing

Lunch – two slices of whole meal bread, 2 eggs, a table spoonful of mayo & a thin-cut slice of cheese

Snack 2 – low-fat strawberry yogurt

Dinner – ayam kecap (chicken on the bone cooked in a soy sauce) with a big vegetable mix

Snack 3 – star fruit x2

2nd WEIGH-IN – I Have To Keep Saying, “slow but sure”

Ok my weigh-in results are;

Weight = 134kg / 295lbs / 21st (A loss of 3kg / 7lbs / half a stone)

Waste (56) (loss of 1 inch) & Hip (52) (loss of 1 inch)

W56 / H52 = 1.09 (but some of the numbers after the 9 are changing so I guess that’s a good sign 😛 )

Hey in my opinion it’s slow, but it’s still progress and I am a little closer to my goal. It is still early days and I am resting now and ready to hit the weights again on Monday!
